What is mic drop?

Mic Drop: PR in Entertainment is a student-run conference hosted by Temple University’s PRSSA Chapter.

Focused on public relations within the live entertainment industry, the conference explores the public relations behind concerts, theater, comedy, and more.

Mic Drop will bring together aspiring PR professionals and industry experts for a glimpse into how communication shapes the world of live entertainment.

What is a district conference?

District Conferences are selected each year by PRSSA National and represent specific regions across the country. Our conference is located in the Mid-Atlantic District, which includes universities in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

Temple PRSSA has been selected for the second consecutive year to host the Mid-Atlantic District Conference.

Why should I Attend?

District Conferences are incredible opportunities for aspiring PR professionals to network with peers and industry leaders.
